Keep in mind when you are planning to visit Los Angeles California that you’re going to have to get a car. There are so many things to see and may of them are in the surrounding areas of the city. You are also going to want to bring good layers of clothing because the days are warm and the nights can be a bit chilly.  

One of the must sees of the area is a day at Venice Beach . This is a great place to people watch and browse through the little shops. There are some great restaurants along the boardwalk and some famous spots such as the muscle beach gym area. This is were skateboarding was born. This is were many artists and musicians have met and created great works of art. It is still filled with music and art today along with many other kinds of street performers and performances. If you hop on a bike or strap on some skates you can make it down the boardwalk to the Santa Monica Pier for even more fun and history.  

The next great drive you’re going to want to take is along Sunset Boulevard. Yes, this is a must see and so as well. This boulevard is one of the most famous in the world because it connects the crazy Hollywood with the posh Beverly Hills. Different sections of the street have different things going on. This is the street with the famous rock clubs such as the Whiskey A Go Go or the Rainbow bar and grill which was the building of the old restaurant that Marilyn Monroe had her first date with Joe DiMaggio. And the list goes on of famous clubs and restaurants along the Sunset Strip. Keep an eye on the road because you never know who may be driving next to you.  

Pick a five star hotels in Los Angeles that is centrally located so you can hit all the main attractions easily. And bring your patience along, the streets are crowded and small. Unless you get a map of the stars homes and go driving around famous neighborhoods of the stars.

The great state of California is not only the largest in regards to the number of people in it, it is also one of the largest geographic states in the country. It takes up a large section of the Pacific coast and it is so long that the coast line itself transitions greatly in climate. And while southern California is know for its beautiful warm sandy shores, the northern coastal areas are cold, foggy and sometimes rocky. However, these are also incredibly beautiful and the coast that surrounds the San Francisco Bay area is known for being one of the most hauntingly beautiful in the world.

And while there is a lot of focus on the coastal regions and main coastal cities the interior part of the state has some beautiful and diverse geography and some of the cities there, such as the capital city of Sacramento are also popular tourist destinations. And for the tourists who are visiting Sacramento and staying in one of the five star hotels in California , Mount Shasta is a popular destination, and provides and amazing afternoon or overnight trip.

Mount Shasta is part of the Cascade Mountains and is the second highest peak in the range. It can be seen from Sacramento and is a tremendously beautiful point of geography. In addition there are some spiritual belief attachments to this mountain that indicate it might be sacred land. In particular, some Indian beliefs suggest that the spirit chief Skell descended from heaven to the mountain’s summit and continues to reside there. It is frequently considered to be a powerful spiritual energy source destination. There are a number of New Age and spiritual bookstores and shops in the small towns near the mountain. In addition, it is a popular place for hikers and climbers as well as a popular destination for backcountry skiing. California is full of beautiful geographic features in the interior part of the state as well as the coastline and Mt Shasta is one just one of the state’s incredible geographic elements.

Decorating Your Bathroom

In the modern society that we live in, bathrooms are one of the most used rooms in the house; however, they are often taken for granted. We often forget what a luxury it is to have indoor plumbing and an indoor toilet, sometimes even more than one. So, to show our bathrooms some appreciation and make the visit there more enjoyable, we will give the bathroom its own unique style and look.

Bathrooms are unique in that they often give us the opportunity to be fun and whimsical with the design in ways that we can’t in other rooms of the house. They are the ideal room to choose fun themes and colors that you wouldn’t use in the rest of your house.

The first thing you need to do when designing your bathroom is to choose your theme. You can do something fun like rubber duckies or a beach theme, or you can do something classy and elegant. An easy way to get ideas is to browse the Internet or even check out your local home decor store for patterns and ideas.

Once you have your vision, it’s time to get to work. The first step to design project is painting; however painting a bathroom can be a challenge with mirrors, countertops, and tile to cover up. If painting is going to be too much work, you can always find a matching border or even do some stenciling.

The next step is the really fun part…accessorizing! You may not think that there is much accessorizing that you can do in a bathroom, but on the contrary there is much that can be done to give your bathroom a finished, complete look. You can begin by hanging the shower curtain and putting out the matching trash can, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder and any other fun essentials you may have acquired. Depending on the size and shape of your bathroom, you may also want to hang some pictures or maybe even add some shelves that could have a practical yet fun purpose.

Lastly, don’t forget the windows. While most bathrooms don’t have large open windows — although if it does they could easily be covered with next day blinds — that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be covered. Depending on the type of glass used for the windows and the level of privacy you wish to maintain, a simple window valence or next day blinds shade will do the trick.

Considering how much time is spent in the bathroom on a daily basis, its about time we took the time to give the bathroom some attention and decorate it a way we can enjoy for years.

San Diego Parks

San Diego, California has no lack of attractions and things to do, such has hanging around beach side enjoying the long white beaches, bronzed bodies and sunny weather; earning the city its nickname ‘Sandy Ego’. However, if you’re a visitor, there are 3 parks you need to see before you head back home.

Balboa Park , home to the world-renowned San Diego Zoo, which is only a small portion of this 1,200 acre city park. Built in 1915 for the Panama-California Expo, where Hispanic roots were celebrated as the city commissioned a breathtaking, ornate Spanish style structure, modeled after a Spanish colonial church and is crowned with a polychrome tile dome. Balboa Park also has 14 museums, a botanical garden, a pipe organ pavilion, a beautiful antique carousel, a Tony award winning theater and a miniature-scale train. In December, you might consider staying in one of the best five star hotels in San Diego nearby Balboa Park to participate in the Prado, which is held the first weekend every year. The Balboa Park is located at 1549 El Prado.

The person who was the landscape designer of Balboa Park, has her own park, the Kate Sessions Memorial Park, located at 5115 Soledad Road. This park has 79 acres of grassy areas, which are perfect for picncis, lounging on a sunny day or kite-flying. 60 acres has remained untouched and pristine, giving the opportunity for hikers to explore. There’s plenty of picnic tables, BBQs, restrooms, playgrounds, and walking paths. This park provide a wonderful oasis of wild, green plants during the spring, and is a nice respite for the locals to partake.

The Belmont Park+http://www.belmontpark.com/ has one of the oldest all-wood, world-famous roller-coaster. This amusement park at one point in time, had a local radio-show hold a competition to win a new car, the contestants had to ride the roller-coaster for as long as they could. This park is oceanside, so has a spectacular view of the ocean. It also offers an indoor swimming pool, including a new wave-generation pool and a family play-land. There are several shops, restaurants and hotels nearby. The Belmont park is located at 3146 Mission Boulevard and opens at 11am.

Phoenix, Arizona is located in the northeastern portion of the Sonoran Desert and has the hottest annual temperatures of all the major cities in the United States. It also happens to have some of the most beautiful geography and there is something about the desert environment that energizes and charges the atmosphere. Arizona is known for having some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the world and geography surrounding the city is diverse and dynamic. There are large lakes just outside the city that provide great opportunities for boating and fishing and the surrounding park areas are great for picnicking and camping. Meanwhile the luxury hotels Phoenix also have great insights to the major cultural attractions as well as favorite lakes and other geographic features in and around Phoenix.

One of the aspects of the desert atmosphere that is true for Phoenix is that in addition to its beauty there can also be a sense of mystery and even mystic descriptions. The city itself has a mythological symbolic name and there is a direct literal reason for this. The city was established in the location of a former civilization, that of the Hohokam people. And they were in the Valley in the same land that developed into Phoenix for over 1,000 years. One of the amazing creations of the Hohokams is the elaborate and extensive water canal irrigation system they designed and constructed. This made desert life possible and the land became arable. They designed and created over approximately one hundred and thirty five miles of canal strips and much of this was used to design the current canal system that runs through Phoenix and the Valley. This was also the inspiration behind choosing Phoenix as the name for the new city when it was established. It rose from the ashes of the previous civilization.

Thinking about Louisiana, one of the first things that always comes to mind is the food. It’s also often the second, third, and fourth, because there’s something that’s simply perfect about the way things taste here. It’s a result of the vast mix of cultures here, where African, French, and Spanish culinary cuisines come together to make for some rather delightful flavors that can’t happen anywhere but Louisiana.

When visiting the local restaurants and enjoying the state’s great hotels, Louisiana offers delicious tastes in all of the cities, and the locals are rightfully proud of the flavors that make eating a ritual, and oftentimes, a party. Eating is a very social act in most cultures anyway, and here, like everything in the state, the social act is multiplied and magnified.

Although Tabasco sauce is by far the most popular kind of bottled heat, there are lots of other sauces. Frank’s Red Hot is one that’s made specifically for the varieties of food found in the region, emphasizing the Cajun flavors that some associate with everything that tastes good in Louisiana.

The popularity of hotness in humid places is itself a fascinating thing. There are many theories about why this is, when it almost seems counter-intuitive to eat hot flavors when it’s hot outside. But it has a peculiarly pleasant effect on the diner, and seems to bring the body temperature up, so that it meets the climate, and can even seem to have a cooling effect on the body’s equilibrium. For most people, it doesn’t matter all that much, because it tastes so good, and there’s always more where that came from. Especially in Louisiana.

Monterey Jazz and Bay Aquarium

Monterey, California has been associated with free spirited lifestyles and beautiful geography for much of the twentieth century. It has figured in various pop culture genres and films and is one of the primary getaway destinations for many of the residents of California. It is also a popular tourist destination for people coming from outside of the state. And while many people visit it simple for the incredible views and for a chance to get away from it all, there are also some incredible cultural attractions that appeal to tourists and sometimes constitute specific reasons for the visit.

Fisherman’s Warf and Cannery Row are common places to visit and part of the overall atmosphere of the city. Meanwhile the Monterey Bay Aquarium is a highly respected institution and visiting this place is one of the most popular things to do while you’re in town. Almost two million people visit the aquarium each year and are impressed with its history and service. It is located at the same place an old sardine cannery used to exist on Cannery Row and it houses over 623 animal species and thirty five thousand plants. There are two extremely impressive primary exhibits and these are the centerpiece of the Ocean’s Edge Wing and the large tank in the Outer Bay Wing.

The Monterey Jazz Festival is an extremely popular annual event and it is one of the longest consecutive operating festivals in the country. It takes place every year during the third full week of September at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. In addition to the great concerts that occur on all of the nine stages, there are various workshops, lectures and panel discussions among all of the great food vendors and exhibition stalls. This is the most popular annual event in Monterey and keeps it strong in the national conscious. In addition to enjoy great food and jazz, one of the primary purposes of the non profit organization that sponsors the festival, is to support various jazz education programs. It’s nice for the guests in the luxury Monterey hotels to know their contributing to scholarship monies for talented young musicians while they enjoy the great music that is offered.

If you are going to hire someone to help your company with team building you will want them to know a lot about your company. This means that you will need to hire a great team building company. Tell them what you do, what team problems you are having, what problems people are having, such as a team of sales people who have trouble with public speaking , things like that. This way they can help you and the management team come up with a great team building exercise, or a series of exercises. The company may also suggest to you that your team get training in another area, not just team building. A team that is falling apart is sometimes a symptom, not the problem itself.

More than any other reason this is why you may need to talk to a team building professional. They can help you identify the real problems and they will often have courses in your area that can change the direction of the company for the better. Don’t forget that managers need team building exercises as well as those who are working on the ground floor. Taking the managers away for a session of team building can help them run the store or set of stores better by giving them tools for dealing with each other as well as the responsibility placed on them while at work.

While it might be tempting after a consultation with a professional to just run your own team building exercises it will do the company more good if you hire them. They are more likely to know if you should tell the group what activities they are going to do or if a vote should be taken to get further audience interaction, something that you are not very likely to know.
